07 Sep Music Really Is Magic
God blessed me extra in 1975 when my younger brother came along.
I turned five the day before he was born. And now we are approaching our birthdays again, for the 44th and 39th time.
Let’s dance… from 1979-ish.
These days I don’t get to see Sam Meek very often as he lives on the west coast where he’s a professional musician. His lovely wife, Elena Degl’Innocenti, is also a super talented singer and songwriter. They visited recently, and during their stay they played a set at a local venue. I grabbed the video clip below during their gig.
The next morning I fried eggs for them BEFORE driving them to the airport at 5 am. Sam said, “Aaaahhhhh…. protein.”
Hearing them perform together was nourishing. Music is a balm for the soul. Enjoy!
