… for these gorgeous stones!
My lapidarist friend Bruce came by the studio last week. I couldn’t resist a few of the yummy stones he had on hand. The huge turquoise cabochon has brown quartz mingled within, and there’s an interesting stone Bruce found here locally in Wake Forest and polished up “just to see.”
So next came a few quick sketches. I enjoyed a couple of hours this afternoon making bezels and backplates. These larger-than-life pendants should be in
the gallery in time for holiday shoppers.
